Toluna Influencers
honestly rated.

A huge survey panel with lots of invitations, a low voucher threshold and strong store ratings, but also frequent screen-outs, PayPal only from about 35 €, and recurring reports of long waits and account blocks around payout.

At a glance

For you if small vouchers from about 10 € are enough and you can live with a tidy profile, no VPN and now and then some wasted time.

Watch out for: Points expire (16 or 12 months, depending on the page) and are lost entirely on inactivity or a ban; redeem early and expect up to 3 weeks of waiting.

Payout
PayPal · Vouchers (e.g. Amazon, MediaMarkt) · Donation
Threshold
According to myStipendium (rewards catalogue, Oct 2026): 4,000 points = 1 €; vouchers from 40,000 points (10 €), PayPal from 145,000 points (35 €), donation from 2,000 points. Other sources give different figures (30,000 points = 10 €, PayPal 30 €); the official rewards page is visible only when logged in.
Timing
Officially “up to 3 weeks” (FAQ, terms). Reports: vouchers mostly 1–3 days, PayPal from about 9 days to more than 4 weeks; Trustpilot and Google Play carry growing complaints in 2025/2026 about waits beyond 3 weeks.

EchtVerdient rating

What public experiences say about Toluna Influencers.

Workable for small vouchers if you redeem early and stick to the rules; as a dependable income source, Toluna falls short because of screen-outs, waiting times and ban reports.

Overall5 of 5 categories · 14 sources · as of 20 Oct 2026
  1. Payouts

Does the money arrive reliably and on time?

    Moderate evidence

Most reports say Toluna does pay out; vouchers from 10 € often arrive within days, PayPal only from about 35 €. Up to 3 weeks is the official allowance, and Trustpilot and Google Play show piled-up complaints in 2025/2026 about longer waits.

  2. Time value

What's left per hour once screen-outs, searching and waiting count?

    Thin evidence

There is no per-hour measurement for Germany. The German test pays 40–50 cents per paid survey, high screen-out rates (60–85%) drag the value down, and tests from the US and UK land at roughly 1.3 to 4 currency units per hour.

  3. Task supply

Is there regularly something to do in Germany?

    Moderate evidence

Invitations and offers are plentiful (up to 30 surveys a month per the test, plus profile blocks and polls), but many won't start or fail on the profile. Older members and niche profiles often complain about too few matching surveys.

  4. Getting started

How high are the hurdles to get going?

    Moderate evidence

Free sign-up from 16, no ID and no payment details, plus an app and starter points. Deductions: the profile asks for a lot of personal data (address, mobile number, later even your bank), and signing up via the international address landed in the wrong country panel in the test.

  5. Fairness & support

How fair are bans, rejections and support?

    Moderate evidence

Overall ratings are good (Trustpilot 4.2, Google Play 4.5), yet several sources from several countries report bans with no concrete reason shortly before redeeming, late screen-outs without pay, and template replies from support. The terms allow bans, expiry and withholding at Toluna's discretion.

What people often praise

  • Voucher possible from about 10 €
  • Very large supply of surveys, profile blocks and polls
  • Starter points for sign-up and profile, no ID needed
  • Good overall ratings on Trustpilot and Google Play
  • From 16, apps for iOS and Android

What people often criticise

  • PayPal only from about 35 €
  • Nothing for late screen-outs, 60–85% screen-out rate in one test
  • Point expiry (16 or 12 months) and forfeiture on inactivity
  • Payout up to 3 weeks, often reported as longer
  • Accounts reportedly blocked without a clear reason
Heads-up
  • Point expiry: the German pages say 16 months, the English ones 12; per the terms, all points lapse on inactivity. Redeem early.
  • Several sources report account blocks shortly before or after redeeming; the rate is unknown. Public reviews are not representative.

What the provider and reports actually say.

Every item has a source and a date. Where sources contradict each other, we show the conflict instead of picking the nicer number.

Operator
Per the privacy notice (May 2025), Toluna SAS, 5 avenue du Château, 94300 Vincennes, is the data controller. It lists Harris Interactive, KuRunData, Brainyak (Gutcheck) and MetrixLab as group companies. We found no German imprint on the member site. ↗
Minimum age and account
Membership from age 16 (or the age required locally), private individuals only, one account. Full name, home address and a valid email are required; the terms do not mention ID documents. ↗
Point value and thresholds (test, Oct 2026)
4,000 points = 1 € on every reward tier; first voucher from 40,000 points (10 €), PayPal from 145,000 points (35 €), donation from 2,000 points. Two vouchers of the same value can cost different amounts of points. ↗
Conflicting threshold figures
Smart Surveys (July 2025): 30,000 points = 10 €. bezahlte-online-umfragen.com (April 2026): voucher from about 15 €, PayPal from about 30 €. The English EU terms give 3,000 points = 1 US dollar as an example. None of these match myStipendium's catalogue readout. ↗
Payout time according to provider
Rewards can take up to 3 weeks; PayPal payments go to the stored PayPal address within 3 weeks according to the terms. Survey points are sometimes credited only after the survey closes, up to 6 weeks later. ↗
Point expiry (German pages)
The German FAQ and terms (Feb 2023) give points a life of 16 months from the day they were earned. On top of that, all points are forfeited once the account becomes “inactive”, meaning 12 months without a survey or other activity; no notice is promised. ↗
Point expiry (English pages)
The English FAQ and English EU terms give 12 months from the day points were earned, and myStipendium (test Aug–Oct 2026) also says twelve months. This contradicts the German pages. ↗
Screened out = no money
If you don't qualify or are cut off midway, the FAQ says no reward is credited. In the test the screen-out came after about seven minutes, unpaid. Paid surveys there yielded 1,600–2,000 points (40–50 cents). ↗
Conduct rules that can trigger bans
The terms forbid VPN/proxy/Tor and logging in from abroad (holidays included) and advise against shared Wi-Fi. Toluna may withhold points if it considers answers untruthful or careless; violations can mean account deletion and loss of points. ↗
Deadline to dispute points
Missing or wrong credits must be reported within 60 days; Toluna says it replies within 30 days, and its decision is final according to the terms. ↗
Trustpilot (live fetch)
4.2 out of 5 from 257,612 reviews (57% five-star, 7% one-star); the profile is global, not limited to Germany. The German-language view of the same profile showed 4.1 from 218,790 in February 2026 (the longlist figure). ↗
Sign-up data
The test lists name, date of birth, gender, postcode, mobile number and email for sign-up; the profile later asks for more, including street and the name of your bank. Bonuses per the test: 500 points for signing up, 1,500 for a complete profile, up to 10,000 in the first five days. ↗

What we don't know for sure (yet).

  • Point expiry: the German FAQ/terms say 16 months, the English FAQ/terms and myStipendium say 12. Which period applies to German accounts today? The official rewards page can only be checked when logged in.
  • Inactivity: the terms let all points lapse on an “inactive” account (12 months without activity). No source puts numbers on how often that happens without warning.
  • Thresholds: 40,000/145,000 points (myStipendium) conflict with 30,000 points = 10 € (Smart Surveys) and PayPal from 30 € (bezahlte-online-umfragen.com). The catalogue is visible only when logged in.
  • Payout time: officially up to 3 weeks; Trustpilot and Google Play report more than 3 and up to 8 weeks in 2025/2026, while German Trustpilot posts from March 2026 praise fast vouchers. The share of delayed payouts cannot be quantified.
  • Bans before payout: several countries (German Play Store, Trustpilot, Reclame Aqui, Sikayetvar) report account blocks shortly before or after redeeming; Toluna cites automated quality checks and, in one case, an irreversible decision. No rate can be determined.
  • Operator: the privacy notice and App Store name Toluna SAS (France); the Play Store app lists Toluna Technologies Ltd (Israel); the corporate site lists offices in Frankfurt and Hamburg. We found no German imprint on the member site.
  • Time value: there is no per-hour measurement from Germany; the tests with hourly figures come from the US and the UK.
